MaleBeing Corp. (“MaleBeing”) and its affiliates (collectively “we” or “us”) are committed to protecting and preserving your privacy. This policy, together with our Terms of Use and any other underlying agreements or terms, sets out the basis on which any data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. By using our website and/or mobile app (collectively “Site”), you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy. 

By using this Site and providing your personal information to us through the Site, you consent to the use of the information that you provide to us in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We do update this Privacy Policy from time to time so please review this Privacy Policy regularly. If we materially alter our Privacy Policy, we will let you know of such changes by posting a notice on our Site and/or contacting you at the e-mail address provided to us. Your continued use of the Site will be considered your agreement that your information may be used in accordance with the new policy. If you do not agree with the changes, then you should stop using the Site.

2. What Information We Collect and the Sources of Your Information

We may collect and process the following data about you in the following ways and from the following sources:

• Details of Your Visits and Use of Our Site. We may collect details of your visits to the Site and the resources that you access, including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs, and other communication data, including your IP address, timing, and content of what you viewed. Some parts of the Site use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect this information about your general internet usage. • Information You Provide Directly to Us. We may collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you create an account and interact with our Site. • Search Bar Data Collection.  When you use the search bar on our Site, we may collect information related to your search queries, including the terms you enter and your interactions with search results. We may also share search-related information with third-party service providers who assist us in processing and analyzing search queries or in delivering relevant content. By submitting a telephone number or other contact information to MaleBeing, you agree that MaleBeing, and/or a representative acting on its behalf, can contact you at the telephone number you provide, potentially using automated technology (including texts/SMS messaging) or a pre-recorded message. Your consent is not an obligation to receive our products and/or services. 

3. Information you provide in the AI Feature. When you use MaleBeing’s chatbot and related generative AI features (the “AI Feature”), we collect and process the information you choose to enter, which may include free-text messages and other content you submit through the Platform. Because MaleBeing is designed to support interpersonal communication and wellbeing skill-building, user inputs may include sensitive information, such as information about relationships, conflict, intimacy, mental health, substance use, trauma, abuse, or other personal circumstances. You should not submit information you do not want us to process for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Chat Inputs, AI Outputs, and Conversation Records

We may collect and store the following categories of information when you use the AI Feature:

• Chat inputs and related content. Messages, prompts, and other content you submit through the AI Feature.

• AI outputs. The responses generated by the AI Feature and delivered to you.

• Conversation metadata. Information such as timestamps, conversation identifiers, and session information.

• Feedback and corrections. Any ratings, reactions, or feedback you provide about AI outputs, including reports of unsafe or inappropriate content.

Derived Information, Personalization Data, and Adaptation of Your Content

MaleBeing is designed to adapt training to a user’s reality and the relational dilemmas the user brings. To support this, we may create and use derived data from your interactions, including:

• Topic and coaching signals. For example, themes inferred from your use, such as communication goals or skill areas.

• Personalization signals. Preferences, pacing, and training pathways inferred from your interactions.

• Safety and integrity signals. Indicators that content may involve self-harm, harm to others, abuse, exploitation, or other safety issues.

We use this derived information to operate, personalize, and improve the Site, including tailoring exercises, prompts, and training experiences.

Safety Monitoring, Escalation Flags, and Safeguarding

To support user safety and prevent misuse, we may use a combination of automated and human processes to identify content that may indicate heightened risk, including potential risk of self-harm or harm to others, domestic violence, abuse or neglect involving children or vulnerable individuals, stalking, weapon access, or other credible threats to safety.

We may create internal records associated with these events, such as safety flags, classifications, and notes about actions taken (for example, providing safety prompts, restricting features, or making a report to authorities where appropriate).

Human Access to Chat Content and Internal Controls

We do not need routine human review to provide the AI Feature, but authorized personnel may access user content, including chat inputs and AI outputs, in limited circumstances, such as:

• Safety and safeguarding. Evaluating and responding to potential risk, abuse, or threats to safety.

• Support and troubleshooting. Investigating user-reported issues and assisting with account or technical problems.

• Quality assurance and improvement. Testing, auditing, and improving the AI Feature and Site performance.

• Compliance and enforcement. Enforcing our Terms of Use, investigating suspected misuse, and meeting legal obligations.

We use access controls designed to limit internal access to those with a legitimate need to know, and we may log access to sensitive systems.

How We Use Chat Content and AI-Related Information

In addition to the general purposes described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, we use AI Feature information (including chat inputs, AI outputs, metadata, feedback, and derived information) to:

• Provide and maintain the AI Feature and related training experiences.

• Personalize coaching, exercises, and learning pathways.

• Improve safety, integrity, and misuse prevention.

• Improve the quality, accuracy, and reliability of the AI Feature and the Site.

• Diagnose problems, debug, and develop new features.

• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

Model Training and Improvement Using Your Content 

MaleBeing uses its own AI systems. We may use user interactions with the AI Feature, including chat inputs, AI outputs, and feedback, to improve our AI Feature and Site. This may include reviewing patterns, evaluating performance, and training or refining our systems to better support the Site’s purpose and safety requirements. We implement measures designed to reduce risk and protect user privacy while improving our systems.

Disclosures for Safety, Legal Compliance, and Protection of Others

We may disclose information, including chat content, account details, and relevant technical data, when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to:

• Protect life and safety. Address an imminent risk of harm to you or another person.

• Safeguard children and vulnerable individuals. Respond to suspected abuse, exploitation, or neglect involving a child or other vulnerable individual.

• Comply with law or legal process. Respond to lawful requests, court orders, or other valid legal demands.

• Enforce our Terms of Use. Investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected unlawful activity, policy violations, or threats to safety.

Where we make disclosures for these reasons, we aim to disclose only the information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose, consistent with applicable law.

Information About Other People You May Include in Your Use of the Site

You may choose to share information about other individuals (for example, a partner, family member, coworker, or child) when using the Site. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share that information. We may process such information as part of your user content for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Automated Decisions on the Site

Certain Site features may involve automated processing, such as detecting potential safety risks, limiting certain outputs, presenting safety prompts, or restricting access to features to prevent misuse. These processes are designed to support safety and ethical use of the Site. The Site is not intended to provide emergency services or clinical care, and automated processes may not detect all risks.

Account-Level Deletion Only

You may request deletion of your account. Deletion is handled at the account level, not at the level of individual conversations. When your account is deleted, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account consistent with our retention practices, legal obligations, and legitimate business needs (for example, maintaining records necessary for security, fraud prevention, compliance, or dispute resolution).

Retention of Chat and Safety Records

We retain chat inputs, AI outputs, conversation metadata, derived personalization data, and safety or integrity records for as long as necessary to provide the Site, maintain safety and integrity, comply with law, and enforce our Terms of Use. Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the data and the reason it was collected. We may retain certain information after account deletion where required or permitted by law, or where necessary for safety, security, or compliance purposes.

Push Notifications and Other Communications 

If we send push notifications or other in-app messages, we may use account and usage information to deliver reminders and training prompts. Depending on your settings and device configuration, notification previews may appear on your device. You can control push notifications through your device settings and, where available, in-app preferences.

Analytics Related to Sensitive Content 

We may use analytics tools to understand Platform performance and improve user experience. We aim to minimize the use of sensitive chat content for analytics and to use aggregated or de-identified insights where appropriate. We use reasonable measures to limit access to raw user content for analytics purposes.

No Third-Party AI Provider Processing

The AI Feature is operated using MaleBeing’s own AI systems, not a third-party AI model provider. We may still use third-party service providers for other functions (for example, hosting, security, analytics, customer support, or payment processing), and those providers may process personal information only as needed to perform services for us and consistent with this Privacy Policy.

4. How We Use and Disclose Your Information 

In addition to the above, the information that we collect and store relating to you is primarily used to enable us to provide services to you in the best possible manner. In addition, we may use the information for the following purposes:

• To provide you with information relating to our services. 

• To fulfill or meet the reason you supplied the information to us. 

• To send communications (e.g., through email or text).   

• To fulfill a legal requirement or respond to law enforcement requests, or as otherwise required by applicable law, court order or governmental regulations. 

• To identify potential fraud or illegal activities. 

• To third party service providers to facilitate our services to you (e.g., payment processing, customer service, auditing, and/or other administrative services). 

• To evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by us about our Site users is among the assets transferred.

• To any affiliated business entities.

We will not use your personal information for purposes other than as expressly stated herein or as otherwise allowed by applicable law. We will not use personal information for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without updating this Privacy Policy.

While the Platform is not an emergency or crisis service, MaleBeing may take steps it considers appropriate to help protect users and others from serious harm. If you submit information that reasonably suggests a child or other vulnerable individual may be at risk of abuse, exploitation, or neglect, or that there is a credible risk to the safety or life of any person, MaleBeing may, to the extent permitted by law, report relevant information to law enforcement, child protection agencies, adult safeguarding authorities, emergency services, or other appropriate third parties. You understand that MaleBeing may also use or disclose information as reasonably necessary to address imminent harm, to comply with legal obligations or lawful requests, or to enforce these Terms.

5. How Long Do We Keep Your Personal Information

We keep personal information for as long as it is needed based on the purpose(s) for which it was collected within the bounds of the applicable law(s) and regulation(s). We may keep your personal information for as long as you have a registered account on our Site. It may also be necessary for us to keep your information due to a legal obligation.

Our Site is designed and intended only for those who have reached the legal age of majority (18 years of age). By using this Site, you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age or older. We are not liable for any damages that may result from any user’s misrepresentations of age.
